Jennifer Mackrous is the University’s FOIA Officer and the eDiscovery manager for the Office of the University Counsel. Prior to joining the University, Ms. Mackrous’ experience practicing law and mediating numerous employment law cases led her to a career in human resources. Prior to joining the Office of the University Counsel, Ms. Mackrous served as a Sr. Specialist of Policy, Risk Management and Compliance in UVA Human Resources. Ms. Mackrous received her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, and received her law degree from the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Mackrous joined the University in 2016.
